Main Composition:Ni (plus Co) ≥ 99.6%

Physical Properties:Density: 8.9 g/cm³

Mechanical Properties:Tensile Strength: σb ≥ 345 MPa, Yield Strength σb ≥ 80 MPa, Elongation: δ ≥ 40%

Corrosion Resistance:Pure nickel (Ni201, Ni200, ASTM B162) exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in many acidic and alkaline environments and is often used in reducing media. Nickel's greatest feature is its resistance to alkaline media corrosion, such as caustic potash and caustic soda, and is widely used in ion membrane caustic soda processes. Nickel has good corrosion resistance in dry fluorine. It has also been successfully applied in dry chlorine gas and hydrogen chloride at temperatures ranging from ambient to 540°C. It can also be used in stagnant hydrofluoric acid solutions. Nickel has good mechanical properties over a relatively wide temperature range and is easy to cold work (elongation: δ ≥ 40-60%). Its processing characteristics are similar to low carbon steel.

Applications:Plate heat exchangers, bellows expansion joints, alkali production, chemical equipment, etc.
