Introduction of Incoloy 825


 Incoloy 825 is a titanium stabilized, fully austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy with copper and molybdenum additions.Incoloy 825 is a versatile engineering alloy with resistance to corrosion by acids and alkali metals in both oxidizing and reducing environments. The high nickel content gives the alloy effective resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Corrosion resistance in a variety of media are very good, such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid and organic acids, alkali metals such as sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid solution.Incoloy825 higher comprehensive performance in the corrosive media varied nuclear combustion solubilizer, such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid and sodium hydroxide are handled in the same equipment.


 1, Incoloy825 has the following characteristics:

 Good resistance to stress corrosion cracking performance, good resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion performance, very good oxidation resistance and non-oxidizing thermal acid performance;

 Good mechanical properties at room temperature and at elevated temperatures up to 550°C;

 With a manufacturing temperature of up to 450 ℃ pressure vessel certification.


 2, Incoloy825 application areas:

 Incoloy825 is widely used in a variety of industrial fields where the use temperature does not exceed 550℃.

 Heating pipes, containers, baskets and chains for sulfuric acid pickling plants; seawater cooling heat exchangers, marine products piping systems, acid gas environment piping;

 Heat exchangers, evaporators, washing and impregnating tubes in phosphoric acid production; air heat exchangers in petroleum refining; food engineering; chemical processes;

 Flame retardant alloys for pressure oxygen applications.
