C-22
Thickness: 0.8-10MM
C22 (N06022) Hastelloy alloy, material number 2.6402, is a nickel-based high-temperature alloy composed of nickel, molybdenum, cobalt, and tungsten, with a nickel content of approximately 60%. It is an all-purpose nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy with better overall corrosion resistance than other available nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys, including Hastelloy C-276, C4 alloys, and 625 alloys.
C22 Hastelloy belongs to the Ni-Cr-Mo-Fe-W system of nickel-based alloys, is the most corrosion-resistant of modern metal materials, the main resistance to wet chlorine, various oxidizing chlorides, chlorinated salts, sulfuric acid and oxidizing salts, in the low-temperature and medium-temperature hydrochloric acid have very good corrosion resistance, so in the harsh corrosive environments, such as the chemical industry, petrochemical industry, flue gas desulfurization and other fields have a wide range of applications.

Hastelloy C-22 application scope application areas:
Hastelloy C22 alloy is widely used in the chemical and petrochemical fields, such as in components and catalytic systems that come into contact with chloride-containing organics. This material is particularly suitable for use in high temperatures, inorganic and organic acids mixed with impurities (e.g., formic and acetic acid), and in seawater corrosive environments.
Welding of Hastelloy C-22 for chlorine gas mixers:
Hastelloy C-22 is a pure material with a reasonable alloying ratio, which fundamentally ensures the quality and performance of the weld. C-22 is a strong, corrosion-resistant material that is superior to C-276 in many ways, and when C276 does not satisfy the requirements of the application, the use of C-22 or Hastelloy C-2000, which is a superior material to C-22, should be considered. Inconel 686, VDM 59 and other alloys of the same family.
