Corrosion Resistance:317L (00Cr19Ni13Mo3, SUS317L) alloy is a molybdenum-based austenitic stainless steel. It has stronger chemical corrosion resistance compared to conventional chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels like the 304 alloy. Additionally, compared to conventional stainless steels, the 317L alloy has higher ductility, stress corrosion resistance, pressure resistance, and high-temperature resistance. It is a low-carbon grade or L-grade, which has anti-sensitization properties during welding and heat treatment processes.

Applications:Equipment for the petroleum and natural gas industry; offshore platforms, heat exchangers, underwater equipment, firefighting equipment; chemical processing industry, vessels, and piping industry; desalination, high-pressure RO equipment, and submarine pipelines; energy industry such as power plant flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems, industrial scrubbing systems, absorption towers; mechanical components (high-strength, corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant components).

Matching Welding Materials:ER317L
