N08926 Super Austenitic Stainless Steel

N08926, also known as 25Ni-20Cr-6Mo, is a superaustenitic stainless steel designed to resist pitting and crevice corrosion that occurs in acidic or neutral chloride environments. Its corrosion resistance is provided by chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen, while nickel stabilizes the austenitic structure. The combination of nickel and copper also provides resistance to some acidic environments.

Through its carefully engineered chemistry, N08926 stainless steel is designed to provide superior corrosion resistance in challenging chloride environments. Its super austenitic structure gives it excellent corrosion resistance and resistance to corrosion, especially for pitting and crevice corrosion. This makes N08926 an ideal material choice in chemical processing, marine engineering, fertilizer production and other fields. At the same time, the resistance to acidic environments makes it widely used in some challenging applications.
