Deepening Strategic Cooperation with JISCO to Expand Specialty Steel Markets
On September 3, Han Jiuyan, Deputy General Manager of JISCO Hongxing Stainless Steel, and Gao Yao, General Manager of Tianjin JISCO Botai, led a delegation to visit the company for an in-depth exchange on the development of China’s specialty steel market, supply chain collaboration, and future market opportunities.
During the meeting, the company introduced its development strategy, core capabilities, and business operations. Building on its dual-engine development strategy, both sides discussed specialty steel production and supply chain development, with a focus on key grades including 254SMO, 904L, 2205, 2507, N08367, and N08825.
Both sides recognized the growing opportunities for domestically produced specialty steels and the importance of closer coordination across the industry chain. As Chinese specialty steel capabilities continue to develop, collaboration between manufacturers and supply chain partners will play an increasingly important role in expanding high-end applications and international markets.
From Supply Chain Collaboration to Market Development
Since the cooperation began in 2024, the company has leveraged its position within the specialty steel supply chain to connect JISCO’s manufacturing capabilities with downstream market demand.
Through close communication with end users and a deeper understanding of application requirements, the company has supported the broader adoption of JISCO’s 254SMO in major domestic markets and helped facilitate its entry into the raw material supply chain of high-end European equipment manufacturers.
A key part of this approach is the combination of customized supply solutions and technical follow-up services. By connecting production, processing, supply, and end-user requirements, the company has helped create a more efficient link between the steel mill and high-end applications.
The cooperation has also continued to expand across multiple specialty steel grades. 254SMO and 904L have established a strong market presence, while 2205 and 2507 have entered scaled production. N08367 and N08825 have also progressed into the small-batch production stage.
These developments provide a broader product foundation for future market expansion and deeper cooperation between the two sides.
Strengthening Capabilities for the Next Stage
Following the meeting, the two teams visited the parent company’s new facility and discussed the next stage of their cooperation.
The new facility will serve as a precision processing and configuration center, bringing upgraded processing capabilities and greater flexibility to the specialty steel supply chain. It will also provide stronger support for customized material solutions, supply chain coordination, and the development of high-end markets.
Looking ahead, both sides will continue to strengthen communication and collaboration, explore new applications, and expand opportunities in domestic and international markets.
With closer cooperation across the supply chain, the two sides look forward to creating new opportunities for specialty steel and supporting the continued development of China’s high-performance materials industry.
