Mechanical Properties:
Tensile Strength: 270Mpa ≤ σb ≤ 410Mpa, Yield Strength σb ≥ 165Mpa, Elongation: δ ≥ 27%

Corrosion Resistance:
Titanium exhibits strong corrosion resistance in many mediums, especially in neutral and oxidizing mediums. It is also usable in some dilute reducing acids, such as various concentrations of nitric acid. It has good corrosion resistance to most alkaline solutions, such as saturated solutions of barium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, and magnesium hydroxide at room temperature, but should not be used in boiling solutions of sodium hydroxide. Titanium is completely non-corrosive in seawater and has good corrosion resistance to most organic acids (except formic acid and oxalic acid). It shows excellent corrosion resistance in wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite, and chlorite solutions. In sodium chloride solutions, its corrosion resistance increases with the increase of solution pH.
