Ruisen’s journey into the semiconductor industry began with a successful supply chain integration project. That experience prompted us to take a closer look at what semiconductor manufacturing truly demands. Through extensive research across the semiconductor value chain, we gained a clear understanding of the stringent requirements for semiconductor-grade materials: extremely low metal ion leaching, outstanding resistance to mixed-acid corrosion, and exceptional batch-to-batch consistency.
Several years ago, the market for semiconductor-grade C-22 materials in China was still largely undeveloped. After conducting in-depth market research, Ruisen chose to source C-22 bar stock from leading European mills, establishing quality standards at the source. Every material undergoes strict solution heat treatment to achieve a dense, defect-free microstructure. We also tightly control low-interstitial elements — including carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen — while maintaining consistent grain size to ensure uniform corrosion resistance and mechanical properties from batch to batch.
This early commitment to quality laid a solid foundation for Ruisen’s growth in the semiconductor sector.
Today, Ruisen’s C-22 forged blocks are supplied in volume for critical positions within wafer fabrication process equipment. Their exceptional resistance to both oxidizing and reducing mixed acids, combined with extremely low metal ion leaching, helps protect the integrity of semiconductor manufacturing processes and safeguard wafer yield.
