Corrosion resistance.

Titanium has strong corrosion resistance in more media, especially in neutral and oxidizing media, also can be used in some dilute reducing acid, such as room temperature until the boiling point of various concentrations of nitric acid. It has good corrosion resistance to most alkali solutions, such as saturated solutions of barium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide at room temperature, but it cannot be used in boiling sodium hydroxide solution. Titanium in seawater is completely non-corrosive, most organic acids are also very corrosion-resistant (except formic acid, oxalic acid). It has excellent corrosion resistance in wet chlorine gas and chloride solutions such as chlorite and hypochlorite. The corrosion resistance in sodium chloride solution increases with the increase of solution pH.
